I picked up an older Emmons S10 some time ago that's 6+1. It's E9th but I haven't looked at that closely to see if perhaps it might have been converted from C6th many years ago. I don't play it in its present configuration, using another p/p instead.

My question is what was the "normal" or "usual" copedant for that 6+1 setup back then? Might it originally have been a single C6th guitar?

Thanks.

i sold an Emmons PPS10 that had 6 pedals & 2 levers
it was set up E9 but i found it to be odd since the lack of levers were compensated by having those changes on pedals
which made you use 2 feet on E9........Muttering
i would have bet my steel bar that the guitar was originally set up C6
since no one took my bet, i had it set up C6
Lo & behold, it made a whole lot more sense & the guitar was a breeze to play on

standard C6 like pedals 5678 (actually 3456)
reverse P6 on 1 along w: whole tone lower on 5 (G to F)
P2 lowers A to Ab on 4 (or raise G to Ab on 5)
RKL lowered C to B on 3
RKR raised both As to Bb on 4 & 8
