Ch. Parker's "Now's The Time". But more at a tempo that I can handle.

After a week I gave up on the idea of recording in one take:

head spliced with different take, timing corrected in the last eight bars.

MSA Superslide direct into mac.

Your arraingement sounds great!
Just the thing I've been wanting to do with my piano playing son. Wish there was a steel/piano jazz book!!
Do you play in a live jazz combo? You put just the right amount of that "meow-cat non-pedal tone"..
Other tunes also very nice!

Thank you!

I'm playing mostly with Aebersold playalongs.

I can't really play through more complicated chord changes (yet). Still working on learning where the notes are on the neck.

There is a Blues in all keys volume that is really fun. The tempos are moderate and it's, well, Charlie Parker blues in 12 keys.
