Lefty and the gang,

I want to thank you for having me at the Jam, bad foot and all. My buddy that came with me, Kenny Brant said to thank all you also for everything you did for us while we were there.
I always have a great time there. All the back stage people, all the door ladies, the back up band, especially all the players and you had a bunch this year, and to all the people that came to the Jam. HEY!!! I can't wait til next time.

If you talk to Eddie Lange, tell him thanks for me again, he played his b#* off as usual. It was fun to have him on my set Sunday.

Terry,
It was our pleasure to have you here again. Not only are you a monster player, but also a modest, gracious gentleman. You set the standard very high for all of us. I enjoyed, not only listening, but watching those front legs on your pack-a-seat come off the ground when you were really into your creativity. I can't come up with a name for it?...almost like popping wheelies?...or in this case leggies? Gotta find a name for that technique. It's a dead giveaway when you're working it hard and into it.
And sitting next to you, young Eddie Lange did a super job jamming with you. He's been doing his homework and his dedication to the instrument is obvious. Eddie played Kirk's steel. And I told Kirk afterwards, "see, those licks are on there somewhere!"
Thanks to all that played and attended.
And Terry, give that lower back repair job some time to heal before you fall off your seat. It shouldn't take long. You're still just a punk kid.

Ditto! What a honor it was to be in the house with such great players and all around fantastic people! I hope we get to make it back next year. Thanks to everyone for a great weekend of talent and hospitality.
