profex 2 processors why still so expensive

Just a question.Why are the peavy profex 2's so expensive,even with the Newman card it seems high to me.I saw prices on the forum recently and they shocked me.I can get say a quadraverb all day long off ebay for around 80 to 150 dollars.Prices on the profex are running around 300 dollars U.S. Why so high?

I just bought a PF2 with the foot controler and midi cord also power cord for 175. I think by what they sell on here for that was a real deal. Very Happy
