I currently have two rooms booked for the convention. One is at the Red Roof Inn and the other at The Harvey Suites. My question is have any of you fellow steelers stayed at either one or both ? What would be your choice and what about the shuttle issue at the Harvey ? I have to give one of the rooms up but I need some opinions before I
make my choice.
Thank you,
John |

If you're wanting to give up your room at the Harvey, let me know.
If you got the good Jamboree rate, I'd take it from you.
I need it for the whole weekend starting Thursday night right through to Monday morning.
Send me an e-mail and let me know.

If you decide to let the room at the Harvey Hotel go and you got the good Jamboree rate, I'd take it from you for sure.
Send me an e-mail and let me know if you want to let it go. I've been hoping for a room at the Harvey and they tell me it's sold out.
I'm there from the 9th to the 13th.

The Red Roof is right next door you can walk across the driveway to the Harvey. The Harvey suites are are across the highway and the shuttle is ok if you dont mind waiting, The rooms are a little nicer at the Harvey suites, but you wont be spending much time in the room, Your choice! hope this helps some.
PS: Get ready to get blown away by some awesome steel playing, Have a good time!!! |

I waited too long again to get a room at the holel. I'll be in the Harvey Suites. Got an appartment suite for $139 per night. I'm taking the whole family and starting spring break early. If anyone wants to give up their room at the Hotel, I'd take it. At $139 per night, I only intend to stay for 2 nights.
Looks like this year is going to be expensive. Hope I don't buy a new pedal steel too.

Folks..
I'm currently visiting my kids in the Irving area and I stayed last night at Amerisuites in Irving -- DFW South. The weekend rate -- Friday thru Sunday is $79 a night for 2 double beds with a sitting area, and a good breakfast. They also have a shuttle service to the airport. I haven't checked the mileage, but I think this place is less than 10 miles to the Harvey hotel..
I'm booked there for all three nights of the convention. Go to their website for further details..
