Dennis, is that the guitar Jerry Lofton is (was?) selling in the "Steel for sale" section? Looks pretty sweet!

Alex, thanks, I bought it from a guy in Sherman Tx. It belonged to his wife's Grandfather whos last name was Botts.
Pete, thanks for the info. I talked with Bobby Bowman about it and he also thinks it is an early 80's guitar.
Its an interesting Guitar. It has eight knee levers!??! Two of them homemade. Here is a pic of the homemade levers.

My Emmons S12 Ext E9, serial # 175 S12, is a 1980 vintage. The tuners are different as well as the pedals are the cast style.

Ken, That would be interesting to know why the serial # has four digits. Just curious, does it have the older style cast pedals?

When the LeGrande guitar era began, Emmons started the 6000 numbering series for the PP model, early 80s.

I had a very similar S-12 push-pull that I bought new in 1978. I'm not sure when they started making them, but I think they stopped around 1985 or so.
