West Coast S8.....I purchased this guitar in 1999 at the St. Louis show and am the original owner.....other than needing a dust off/wipe down, this guitar is in pristine/mint condition as it has never left my apartment....26" scale with a George L pick up.....great tone & sustain....comes with a hard case....$450.00

What are the outstanding points about this guitar?

What, if any, short-comings might there be?

The guitar is very well built.....all of the West Coast guitars that I've seen at the shows are high quality.....the sustain is excellent as you would expect from a long scale and because of the size and shape of the body, it can be played standing up....as long as one's belly does not get in the way.....Smile

I cannot think of any short coming.....players have different preferences and scale length can be one of them.....not everybody is comfortable with a long scale as slants may be more difficult....but that will take more practice, which.....is a benefit in the long run.....
