Joe Bielinski here out in Mingus to let y'all know the great Ralph Mooney will be playing a full night with my old Country Drifters Band at the Trio Club in Mingus on Saturday, April 1st from 9P - 1A. Mooney recorded an lp with my band back in 1982 called "Country The West Coast Way" which was a tribute to Owens, Haggard, and Stewart. Some of the special guests will be Bobby Wayne and Jerry Max Lane who are both huge Mooney Fans. Also, the Country Drifters LP with a ton of Mooney on it will be re-released on CD for the first time that night. For more info call 254-672-5642.

Hey Mayor of Mingus, glad to see you on the Forum. Glad you're getting old Ralph to do a gig at the Trio. Be sure to tell him that "I" sat there once, right in the same spot where he is sitting. He'll be impressed I know you have your radio show this Sunday starting at noon on KTFW 92.1 FM. I know you can't make it, but we're having a benefit for Curtis Potter at Priddy starting at 2:00P Sunday. Please give him a plug anyway. Everbody is gonna be there cept you Check out www.melodyoaksranch.com

Wish I could be there - guess I'll have to wait for the CD. Hummm, ya'll ever think about having someone video record this event and turn it into DVD? Not a bad idea...
