What 15" are you looking for?

The 1501-4 (4 ohms) is what is used in Peavey amps such as the Nashville 400, Nashville 1000. It does not come in an 8 ohm model.

If you post what model you are looking for, maybe someone can respond.

I found some what to appears as NOS 1501-4DT (deep basket) on eBay. These were a killer speaker

For 8 ohm Peavey speakers you can try Antique Electronics

Never saw old DT's with that decaled magnet, but then there's a lot of things I've never seen.

I still have a pair of the 1501-4 DT's in the closet...and a basket or two, I think.

You can check Peavey website for dealers. In addition to Ken's suggestion, you can try the online music stores like American Musical, Sweetwater etc. Also Orange County speaker @ www.speakerrepair.com or jammin jersey speakers, www.loudspeakersplus.com www.usspeaker.com Close to home, www.parts-express.com just down the road from you carries some Peavey speakers as well.

I thought I had seen a post awhile back regarding an 8 Ohm 15" BW speaker. I wouldn't mind having an 8 ohm for my Fender Vibrosonic Reverb amp.

1502-8 BW Kenny. These were used in Peavey bass amps and worked pretty good for steel as well.

Just bought a Nashville 400 yesterday....thought I got a good deal....when I got it home I noticed that the speaker did not have "Black Widow" printed anywhere on it...how can I tell if I have a Black Widow?

Look at the mounting plate for the speaker connection posts. If there is a sticker there, such as 1501-4, that is a BW speaker (and what later Nashville 400's came with).
