I'm selling a like new American Standard Tele with active EMG pickups with an added middle strat pickup and 5 way switch. I bought this Tele new in April of this year and had the pickups changed out to active to get more power and noise free operation. The am standards are routed at the factory for an optional middle pickup so I added a strat pickup to the middle position for some of the strat spank sounds and still have the tele switching capibility for the front and bridge pickups, also have the single strat sound for position three on the switch. This guitar is well taken care of and has no dings or scratches on the body or neck and stilll looks as it did when delivered from the factory. Great playing guitar and nice clean tone. I sold the original molded case it comes with and bought a Levy Cordura material deluxe gig bag for lighter and better ease carrying with more storage pouch room.
I'm selling the guitar for $700.00 plus shipping within the lower US.
Note - Would consider a Bill Lawerance modular 12 string pickup and $550.00 as a trade
option. ( 705, 712, 912 model types )

What Modular pickup do you have now? I have a 12 string George L's Sierra II pickup and Im interested in trying out something new. If you would be into a swap to check out pickups. Wouldn't need to be for keeps. _________________ Mullen G2 SD10 , Lil Izzy Buffer, Goodrich 120 volume pedal, Boss DD-7, Peterson Strobo flip, Peavey Nashville 112 |

Jeff, I'm now using an Alumitone but I prefer a Bill Lawerance pickup for more mid definition. I've tried a George L and it was a little to mellow on my MSA. I appreciate the offer anyway. Take care. |

Jerry: Do you still have the original pickups and pick guard? Are those included in the sale?
If these are "active" EMG pickups, do they need a 9-volt supplement someplace? If so, where do you put that?
Thanks. |

Dennis, I do not have the original pickups anymore, sorry. I do have the original pickguard though. The pickups in the guitar are active EMG X series and require a 9 volt battery which is located in the body cavity under the tone control pot. |

Jerry: OK, thanks anyway. I'd be more interested in the originals, with the EMG as an option.
Good luck with the sale. |
