For Sale: JCH Pedal Steel Guitar SD-10 3 pedal x 6 knee levers. Emmons Set up. Guitar is in great shape. This is not an SD-10 conversion. It is an original SD-10. There is a side plate installed where the C6 neck is, but I've had many guitars, including Emmons LeGrande's that have had this same scenario. They used the same end plates for SD-10's as D-10's.
Guitar has triple raise/triple lower all pull changer, square hex shafts, & 4 hole bell cranks.
Guitar has a George L E-66 pickup & Sperzel tuners at the keyhead.
The switch has been disconnected, but is enclosed. It was not on the guitar when I purchased it, but it is there with all of its hardware. When I received the guitar it was not installed. I just didn't put it back on. I don't know if it works or not. A lot of people that owned these JCH's with these types of push button switches took them off as they did have a tendency to go bad after a while. So you don't need it anyway. So the pickup is just wired direct to jack. Sounds great. The switch may or may not work. I just didn't want to install it & don't have the proper equipment to test it.
Copedent as follows:
Emmons set up
Pedal A raises strings 5 & 10
Pedal B raises strings 3 & 6
Pedal C raises strings 4 & 5
Left outer front knee lever raises the E's to F
Left outer rear knee lever lowers 5 & 10 a 1/2 tone
Left inner knee lever raises 1 & 7 a full tone
Left vertical knee lever lowers 3 & 6 a 1/2 tone
Right inner knee lever lowers the E's to D#
Right outer knee lever lowers 2 a full tone & 9 a 1/2 tone.
Guitar comes with original case and leg bag.
It sounds and plays like a dream.
Price: $2,325.00 (add $65.00 shipping lower fourty eight)

What are the controls seen in the picture? And is the switch you referred to something additional? |

Brint,
As I stated in the add, I do not have them hooked up now. They were for the tone control, and also if there was a coil tap pickup installed on the guitar. Also if you had a D-10, to switch the necks, from E9 to C6. I was told that Jimmy put them on all of his guitars, either SD-10's or D-10's. So the same control was used on all of his guitars. These are similar to what Emmons LeGrande's use, except these are push button.
You can try and hook them up if you purchase the guitar. They may work. You actually do not need them anyway.
