It definitely was Gary Hogue and what a fantastic player he was. Gary sure is missed in the steel guitar world.

I spent many an afternoon with Gary at Charlie's Norris Music in Mesquite. Gary was an exception player and also a person. I had more or less just started playing then and if I asked Gary how he did something, he would sit with you and show you and stay til you got it right. Yes, he is missed by us all.
