Derby used Grovers. I can't say, but they probably still have them.

Here's the contact info:

Jack,

I recently put a new set of Grover tuning machines on my Derby SD-10. I purchased the Grover model 210C "pedal steel tuners" from GC. On a couple of them, I had to add a small washer to make the keyhead "thick enough" for the tuner to lock down on it.

Feel free to contact me if you need more information...

My friend Paul Vendemmia owns two sets of Grover PSG tuners that I am in possession of. You can contact him here on the Forum and if you can come to terms, I can ship them to you instead of returning them to Paul. Do a search and contact him.

i just took the keyhead off the e/9th neck on my emmons pp, everything is the same except the 2 holes on the back do not match. the emmons measure 2 1/8 inches and the derby is 2 1/2 inches. if anyone has some keyheads that will match and also will bolt on the pp i would buy or trade the derby keyheads....thanks jack

Jack,

LeGrande "long" key heads will bolt right up, in case you come across a pair of those. I'd be very leery of installing key heads from another brand of guitar (even if the bolt pattern was the same) unless you were certain that the proximity of the roller axle matches the 24 1/4" scale from the changer perfectly.

lynn: i talked with several people that said the derby would mount on a emmons pp, including some builders. as far as i can tell everything matches except the 2 back holes. i was hoping to find some one that might need a pair of derby keyheads that might be interested in trading some legrande....thanks jack
