Sounds great but it's a little too far to travel.

How about a Steel Show in CENTRAL FLORIDA, Orlando could be a great place for a show, this would interest us steel players from the southeast part of the state, WEST PALM-DADE-BROWARD.

Seems all the steel jams/shows take place on the west coast. Tampa is about 300 miles from my home in Broward.

So how about it..................ORLANDO is the center for a great steel fest.

I checked the distance from Ft Lauderdale to Lakeland and it's about 204 miles. Not a bad road trip.
But again, Orlando which is located in the center of Florida seems to be a very good choice for a Steel Show. My last count according to the Forum's membership roster, lists about 450+ steel players living in our state. Again, Florida is a mighty big state area wise.

Now South Beach in Miami would be an excellent location for a steel show, lots of hot young international latin chicks walking the beach & streets, don't know how much steel music would be played down at South Beach, men will be men.............

Hey Kenneth Steel Guitars and woman on a beach do not mix.If you want to play Steel Guitar you play Steel Guitar. If you want to look at women then you go to the beach and look until your eye balls fall out and you just eat your heart out and keep dreaming.I have my woman and I don't need to look at others as they will not come even close to my wife.My wife is the most beautiful woman in the world and the beach girls can not even compare to her.At 68 she will put them to shame..

You got it, Dave! Smile I just hope I don't have to follow you on steel.

I'm sure looking forward to seeing lots of friends at the Lakeland show, as always. Haywood and Larry do a great job putting this show together each year.
