Don,

Thanks so very much for the plug for today's "Swingin' West" show. In addition to the theme I do have some other great stuff like your version of the old favorite "Bummin' Around" which is the title tune of your first CD. Again, the show is on world wide on your computer from 1:00-4:00PM (Eastern) either with Windows Media Player or Quicktime on the "Swingin' West" homepage of www.swinginwest.com.

Don - I wish some of those clubs would have a get-2-gether around the Memphis area. I cut my teeth on Western Swing---as a kid, I saw Bob Wills at the Casino Ballroom in Vallejo, Cal.many times. I belong to the Western Swing Club of Okla., but a good distance from here. As I told Jack, I hope to make another of your meetings some time this year----Best,......HJ

Mike, sorry I missed it - I had a show to do on Hollywood Beach in the afternoon. It was a bit chilly (in the 60s) but I survived . .

I'll be tuning in this coming Friday !!

Mike have you ever looked into archiving your shows so they could be listened to afterwards? I am usually working the time they air weekly and would love to hear them when I am able. Either that or offer CD copies of the shows.

Just a thought, Your friend Craig

Rick, It will be my pleasure to have you out there next week listening, buddy!

Craig, I would love to make copies of the Friday shows available but we do have some legal questions involved and the originating FM radio station, which is a public station would rather not go in that direction. However, I always have the "sample" one hour show accessed on the bottom of my homepage of my "Swingin' West" web site any time 24 hours a day, seven days a week. It can be heard all month long and it changes during the first week of the following month. This month's show is many different artists doing songs from the Bob Wills song book. Please do give it a listen and let me know how it works out. It is heard with Real Player and once you get through a two minute commercial from the originator, twangtownusa.com the show begins.
Thanks amigo for your interest. www.swinginwest.com
