I'm one happy guy right now because I'm almost to my thirteenth year as a steel guitarist! It seems like only yesterday, I was the new guy sitting at a pedal steel for the first time, being amazed at what I was about to experience with this instrument we call the pedal steel guitar-I'm still amazed by this beautiful instrument! I'm also amazed because y'all have accepted a guy with cerebral palsy in his left hand as part of the steel guitar family-thank y'all! There ain't no stoppin' for this steelman with cerebral palsy! I'm gonna play country music for a long, long time!

Hey Brett, You have been an inspiration to many steel players at shows and here on the forum. Congratulations on your success and I know you will keep it up. Let me also say your knowledge of steel players and who they play for is astounding. I hope one day to meet you in person.

Way to go Brett!

You set such a great example for the rest of us with your positive outlook on life and music. Keep up the great work playing our beloved instrument, the pedal steel and congratulations to you on this important milestone.

Steve

p.s. Like Paul I'm amazed by your encyclopedic knowledge of all the pro steel players...you always seem to be the first to know the answer to "who's playing with who?"

Congrats Bret!!! I have only been on the forum for a short while, but I think I speak for everyone else when I say, We would have been the ones missing out on a great guy that Loves the Pedal Steel Guitar the way that you do. You give people like me no excuses and the inspiration I will need when I get my guitar and start my journey. So Thank You my friend!!
