Wondering if there are common applications for this? Relative newbie and my Rains came with the setup
My RKR currently:

2nd string D-C#
7th string F#-E
9th string D-C#

thanks.

Looks like he wanted to have a plain vanilla A chord over strings 10 through 2, with A/B/RKR, or a straight C#m with A/RKR.

I've had that on my RKL for 30 years (so you know I like it) but with these differences
- my string 2 is D# so the lever lowers 2 a whole step
- there is a half stop on 2 and 7 together
- I have 12 strings and the same lever raises low E to F# (after the half stop)

Besides the aforementioned big strummable chords, there are lots of uses, for example
- nice country resolution of B7 to E on strings 4,5,6,7,8 etc
- If you think of E9 tuning as B6 universal, then this lever (string 7 lowered a half step) does what Pedal 5 did on the middle strings of the old C6 tuning.
