Does the Pre RP Mullen have a unique sound?
Is it supposed to sound better than the RP? |

Hey, I would like to know the answer to that, too. My old Pre-RP still has the great sound it had when I first got it: (better now that I put an Alumitone in it). Have played a G2 one time, it played smooth as butter, but no better than my old one; sounded lucious, but no better to my ear than my old Pre-RP. ...
So, Mickey, or somebody please chime in on this. _________________ Mullen Lacquer SD 10, 3 & 5; Mullen Mica S 10 1/2 pad, 3 & 5; BJS Bars; LTD400, Nashville 112, DD-3, RV-3, Hilton VP . -- Gold Tone PBS sq neck; Wechter Scheerhorn sq neck. -- "Experience is the thing you have left when everything else is gone." -anon.- |

Yes . The Pre RP has it's own sound. That's what makes them sell so well.
There are lot's of them out there but players that have had them and sold, for some reason, want them back. _________________ Bill |

Well, Paul, at least you could tell us what you got, and show some pix as well. All steel players love to see other steel players steels. _________________ Mullen Lacquer SD 10, 3 & 5; Mullen Mica S 10 1/2 pad, 3 & 5; BJS Bars; LTD400, Nashville 112, DD-3, RV-3, Hilton VP . -- Gold Tone PBS sq neck; Wechter Scheerhorn sq neck. -- "Experience is the thing you have left when everything else is gone." -anon.- |
