Many thanks to Ken Fox for the preamp chip mod kit for my Nashville 1000. I just installed chips this afternoon and WOW! All the intermodulation is gone, better string separation (each string sounds clearer), overall tone is much better, and even the reverb sounds cleaner.

Now I got a 'new' amp for the #30.00, the price of his chip set.

Thanx,
Jim

I bought a Nashville 1000 about 6 months ago. Wasnt too impressed with the tone in it compared to my Nashville 112's. So I finally got my hands on Ken Fox's mouse trap chips, I should have ordered them as soon as I got my Nashville 1000 home. I can't beleive the change in tone. To me it sounds very close to the tone of my Nashville 112's now and I am very pleased. I was a skeptic but not now. My hats off to you Ken. Now I want to keep my 1000 and I may even leave the 112's home more often. Now it sounds like a really good steel amp.
