I don't know who to mention first, both players were right on track.Well I'll mention Fred Justice first ( I want to go to Dallas again this year)What control, sound and choice of songs. The Rains guitar rained unbeleaveable quality sounds.Fred has the ability to make every note heard, the way he releases his pedals and knee levers are so precise. What a player.
Next,my little home buddy,Jody Cameron. To hear him makes me feel like he is the master of the E9th neck of the steel guitar.Percision execution, hands that produce a great sound and a choice of good steel songs. It was so good to see and hear him again.hey Bud you forgot to tell me bye when you left. Thanks for the sharing licks time,I learned a lot.
During the Hal Rugg memorial segmet Paul Polish made a real nice compliment to Jody, how he has finally came too the limelight and getting over the hump of being reconized as to who you really are and compared him too Hal as having his own distinct style.Hal Rugg and Jody Cameron in the same thought.I fully agree Paul, again a really nice thing to say,but thats the way you are.

My Gosh - thanks Ray! And thanks also to Paul. I can't believe I would be mentioned in such a light. It is a great honor to play these shows and share the stage with some of my heros, and share such good times with my friends.

Ray I'm sorry I missed you before I left...you were gone when I got back to the hotel Sat. night. Hope to see you in Dallas.

Thanks again - JC
