Can any member throw any more light on Anthony Rocco than is given on this memorial. Ideally I would love some confirmation of the Metronome article that this web page mentions but maybe there is another way of verifying the date of the photo.
An electric double 8 in 1936 seems to be the earliest electric double neck if this is correct. Would there be earlier 8 stringed instruments?

His son posted years ago and that thread had lots of cool pix and info, plus an offer of Tony's music on CD. A search for Rocco will probably bring up plenty. |
