How does it all work?

Hi ... I'm a bit of a newbie here and I have a question I hope all you veterans won't laugh at. Does anyone know of - or can direct me to - a video that clearly explains and shows the mechanics of a PSG? There are a lot of terms being used in this forum I simply don't understand and it would be useful to know what part is what and where it is located and what it does.
