Well, what a nice run for the past five years but I've decided it's time to move on and will sell out the remaining stock of the wrench at a discounted price. Thanks so very much to all of you who have bought the wrench over the past five years. Michael Yahl will be making the New BIG Tuning Wrench very soon...he's already making super parts! (I'm going to keep a few wrenches for past customers only...My final two wrenches that I was going to sell will go to Lloyd Green and Jeff Surratt...see my last post 11-12-12 for comments)
See Photos below of the newly "modded" wrench with a longer shaft (1.5"). The original wrench had a 1" shaft and I had several requests for the longer shaft size. (I still have a few of the original wrench) The dimensions of this wrench are: Shaft is 1.5" long and it fits a 3/16" hex tuning nut and goes to a depth of 5/16" into the shaft. The Knob is 1.5" in diameter and the turning surface width is 5/8". It's milled out of aluminum. Several of the "Masters" now have this wrench and they love it! Thanks, Carl **NOTE: Wrench doesn't work on Mullen, Fessenden or Zum Stage One guitars**

Hey Mark & Michael,
My best to both of you and your positive comments are very much appreciated! Michael, the steel guitar parts you've been machining are "top shelf" IMHO! Smile We are very fortunate to have "Master Machinists" like you as members of this Forum! Thanks again, Carl

Hey Carl! Cool wrench! Have you ever considered making one of your wrenches with a 7/64 Allen end for a push pull. Might be a good market for that...

I couldn't go back to my old wrench after buying a Big'un. I'm thinking about getting a back-up in case mine falls out of the bag......

Thanks for the comp on the wrench Adam....I may have to get a few made to see if there would be any takers? The entire length of this wrench is 1 5/8"...would you think the current 1" shaft would be long enough to work on a P/P? Carl

Hey John,
Many thanks for the kind words and chimming in on my post! Smile I kinda like the name you gave the wrench also; "Big'Un" I might have to reconsider the name! Very Happy In this case, size does matter, huh? Laughing

Howdy guys
If you ever grab hold of one of these Grab-N-Tune tuners, I think you will be glad you did. Makes very easy and precise tuning a snap. I only have 3. Keep a spare in the seat. Carl is a fine Okie to deal with.

Hey Jack & Crowbear,
Much obliged for the comps for the wrench. Jack was one of my VERY first customers almost 4 yrs ago now and as he said, he has 3 wrenches just in case! Cool Crowbear was one of my first international customers and has continued to order for friends/students. Many thanks to you both for your continued support. Your bud, Carl

Carl I cut a allen wrench and made one to fit my Professional, I sent it off with the guitar I just sold so I need another one, so I can make it like the one I gave away. I just glued the allen wrench into the end of the org. tunner end and it worked perfectly. The new one will work with my williams.
send me the price of the new one.

I love my big wrench. So much easier than the smaller ones when fine tuning. Worth every penny.

Carl, I received my BIG Tuning Wrench a couple of weeks ago and really like it. I meant to post earlier about the good service and speedy delivery.
I should have bought one from you a long time ago. They are worth the money! Thanks for making them.
