'Overheard the phrase "on second thought" today and since I always loved playing that steel break, I accessed YouTube and there's a felluh playing a Bigsby Triple Neck Pedal steel.
Thought I pass along for those that enjoyed that song.

I Don't Recognize The Steel Player, But I Believe The Bigsby Guitar was On Loan From Bobbe Seymour.

That's Eddies regular player Ned (can't remember last name). He plays with his second and third fingers on right hand. Super nice guy. _________________ Henry Matthews

That was Eddie's road player for sure. I can't remember his last name either. He was originally a guitar player who use picks on his middle and ring finger along with a flat pick and when he went to steel he'd just drop the flatpick and put on a thumbpick leaving the fingerpicks in place.....Can't remember where I heard that but it makes sense... That black and white video is a classic.....JH in Va. _________________ Don't matter who's in Austin (or anywhere else) Ralph Mooney is still the king!!! |

Ned Davis was Eddie's road player as I recall. This video with Ned is just synced to the original track with PF playing pedal steel. That Bigsby is a classic, but it's not being played here.
Search Eddie Rabbit here on the forum. This has been discussed a few times before. |
