To all my SGF buddies..Ive been in Dallas for 5+ years now. They say all good things come to an end. For me, living in Dallas was a real treat. I have made SO many new friends. Ive furthered my relationships with numerous GREAT musicians..Just to name a few.. Junior Knight, Johnny Cox, Chuck Cusimano, Gary Carpenter, Dick Wood. David Biggers, Reese, David Wright, Danny Naccarato, Charles Tilley, Ron Randall, Slim...and the list goes on and on...Although this chapter of my life is coming to an end, a new one is beginning. Ill be DEEP in the HEART of TEXAS in College Station...!..Ill be nearer to my good friend Bobby Bowman too!..Theres a ton of great musicians in this area too, and Im looking forward to playing around San Antonio, Kerrville, Bandera...etc.etc...as ALL these places are a stones throw away...As of Aug 15th, I will complete the move and have my shop setup in my home until the new hangar is finished...I work for a private family, and they are VERY good to me....My schedule will be very light leaving LOTS Of time to continue my teaching thing!....As always, I appreciate all of you, my friends here on the forum...PEace!...mick

I got out of the Metromess as soon as I could too. I lived in Arlington for 16 years. We've been in the Leander/Liberty Hill area for 18 years now, and love it. Good luck on your move. Keep 'em flyin'.

Mick,

I notice the McAllen, TX in your sig. That's a long way from Dallas or College Station... What's with that?

Just curious as we (GE Aviation) have a plant in McAllen that I've visited a couple of times.

Ron
