The Alumitones , do sound very good, Super Quiet, I've also made the Split Switch -- definitely 2 different sounds both desirable.
Sonically the Alumitones are super flat and even, kind of like a CD Verses Analog. I have numerous videos of these and others @

Another thing is the Alumitone is abut 30% more powerful than a typical Pick Up.
I've engineered the pocket depth , a little deeper to sit about .170 below the strings.
This evens out the output near to other pups.
It is easy to lift it with shims we laser cut to the pocket shape from wood veneer at .020 thickness to pretty much any distance below the strings desired. |

We have Brass Round Rod nut and bridges , Low Price.
We now have Acrylic 6 string bridge and nut notched for a P90 .390 -- .375 nut. $20.00 each piece.
We now have Acrylic 8 String bridge and nut notched .375 - 3/8 --- nut 11/32 both are 1/2 tall. $20.00 each piece.
I also sell peel n stick fretboards in all the most popular scales several designs.
Now Added Clear for builders that want to spray clear over them to see through to exotic woods.
I sell my laser etched acrylic fretboards , and my proprietary Nickel plated Brass Nut and Bridge Sets. Dig deep in the wallet for these - it is worth it though!
