Looking for about 30 or 40 new tuning nuts. The long ones if anyone has some or knows a source. Last ones I bought was several years back through George L's but I understand they are no longer carrying steel stuff
Thanks,
Dave |

David, I have them up to 1" long in both #4-40 and #5-40.
Unfortunately I don't have anything longer stocked yet.

Show-Pro bought the steel guitar accessory stock from George L's. Contact Jeff Suratt for the parts that George L's used to sell.
The only steel guitar items George L's sells now is the pickups and strings (and guitar cords). |

Thanks guys,
Ray, I've written Bobbe and waiting on a reply..
Michael, I'm trying not to have to use spacers and more convenient to reach with the longer ones. But I may need them if Bobbe doesn't have the long ones.
Jack, I contacted Jeff and he also doesn't have the long ones.

Just as a reference David, what length are you looking for? _________________ "Don't fergit to kiss yer horse!"

Michael, the white ones I have are 1.5 inches and the translucent ones are 1.75 inches. Either work fine |

David, you might contact Lamar Colvin of Lamar steel guitars. He was using the long translucent ones at one time. I haven't talked to him lately so I don't know now, but it might be worth a shot.
He's a forum member and his contact info should be here somewhere. JO. |

Wow! Still haven't been able to find 1.5 inch nylon tuning nuts. I'm sure someone makes them as I've seen them on many steels. I may have to resort to using 1 inch and spacers but certainly not my prefernce... |

David, I have the 1.75 tuning nuts as used on the Sho-Bud models if these are what you are looking for.
Let me know and we can arrange something. Ron |

Ron, that's what I'm using them on is a Pro III that I'm restoring. Drop me an email and maybe we can work something out.
Thanks,
