Got a chance to meet Albert recently, sharing the steel guitar stage with him. He is a class act and a great player. If you are in the Nashville area he would be a good one to look up.

Albert is indeed that! He's the first player I ever saw using a hard boiled egg as a tone bar.

I thought he was living here in Indiana. That's what he told me a couple of months ago at the "Indy Jam". This would explain why I can't get a hold of him. Yes, really nice guy, if you can find him. Very Happy

Albert gets up to Minnesota on a pretty regular basis but, I believe, his home base is Nashville.
A great guy and excellent performer. Very Happy

Mark, I did indeed work for several months in the town of Bainbridge, Indiana as a worship leader and Assistant Pastor. However, I made a lousy Church Secretary and decided that I was more suited for traveling than staying in one place. I miss the church and the people there, but steel guitar is my first real love.

Butch, thanks for the post and same back to you. You are just an awesome guy and you play very well. I sure liked your steel and thanks for letting me use it. I am also glad we found your pedal before I took off.

Blessings, Albert

Yes Cliff I will be at Dallas this year doing a bunch of new material
on my new Wiliams guitar which is being built even now.
I might even do the hard boiled egg song.
