In excellent condition, with JBL E140 4ohm 15" speaker. Recently gone through by Tom Bradshaw. Includes a cordura nylon cover. I would prefer not to ship. Local pick up preferred. $900. I am in the SF bay area.

I have reconsidered the issue of shipment. I will do this and charge actual shipping costs. I will also ask for insurance. I will pack carefully and excessively. The approximate weight is 70 lbs.

Great Curley
I haven't seen one like that since I visited the Webb shop when I was in California in the 90s. Great amp and I am sure you will like it.

Hey Terry

It looks like you are getting a nice amp. I owned several of these years ago and they were great amps but I then moved on into tube preamp rack setups. My favorite was a white Webb head with two matching white Webb 15" cabinets. It sounded great and really looked impressive "stacked up" on a stage.

There was a time period back then that a Webb amp would not last much more than one hour on the for sale list before it sold.

I always ran 8 ohm JBL K 130 speakers in mine. If you have not already given it any thought, I might suggest that you consider putting one of the new Eminence EPS 15" speakers in that amp as that JBL E 130 weighs somewhere near 25 pounds and they are also pretty bright. You would drop at least 15 pounds off of the weight of that amp.

Enjoy your new equipment.Smile

Terry,

If you do replace that JBL, let me know, I will take it off your hands.

I second the Eminence EPS 15" and I've been a loyal JBL D130 guy since the 70's.. a simply terrific speaker and light!!

The new Eminence EPS-15C is a more fuller fidelity speaker in my opinion. Just as clear as the D-130 if not more. It only weighs 7.8 pounds and was modeled specifically for steel guitar. Let me know if you need one. I am an Eminence dealer. See my listing under "Amplifiers And Accesories". Special price for Forum members. 15 pounds of weight savings is a BIG relief. Fantastic steel speaker.

I have a cab w/ the Eminence in it and it sounds great.
But I just put a Jensen neo 300 in my Webb 614-E and I like it even better!
The lightweight speakers make a big difference when your lugging those Webbs around, and personally I think it sounds better than the original JBL
