This song is one of my favorites from Sweetheart of the Rodeo, and it's got some butt kicking steel on it. I searched and found there was a thread with responses on this, but the images no longer exist so I can't view the tab. I'm especially curious about how Lloyd plays the last fast part of the solo on the V chord, can't tell what it is, or even if he's pick or palm blocking? |

Maybe I shouldn't reply to this, because it's only guessing.
I have the feeling that the fast picking over the D-chord is employing strings 6, 5, 4, 3.
Starting on fret 10, without pedals,
fret 10, B and C pedals,
fret 13, E- F lever,
fret 15 no pedal,
fret 15 with B and C,
then 15 (where it returns to G).
As I said I'm not sure, but it's maybe good for a starting point. _________________ Fender Kingman, Sierra Crown D-10, Evans Amplifier, Soup Cube. |
