I don't know, but his playing is really nice. Maybe one of the Aussie steel pickers?

Redd tearing it up as usual on the tele. Looks like a CC pickup on that one.

Yep, Tommi is a fine, fine steel player. Just for the record, he plays a bit of right handed steel too, not fair really Oh Well

Redd is also playing a Tomkins guitar. These are made here in Australia by Alan Tomkins out of native timbers and they usually sport a leather pickguard. Many pickers here play a Tomkins and they are fine instruments.

Had to chime in here. Fine work by Tomi (as usual). Yes that CC (Charlie Christian) pickup on the Tomkins sure shows up. Dunno whether it's a Lollar or one of Alan's own and could that be Alan Tomkins on bass and under the hat ??? or am I mistaken. His guitars are great especially for live playing they just seem to project out there amazingly - might be the aussie wood?
Oh yeah and Red was fine too but we all know that he looks and sounds better every year.
