For sale is a Clinesmith seven string lap steel. It has Todd's rendition of a Bigsby bar pickup in it, the same style pickup you would find in a Bigsby steel guitar or in Merle Travis' Spanish Guitar.
It is serial number 025, natural satin finish over flamey maple. The fretboard is cast aluminum with raised graphics.
The string spacing from the bottom to the top string at the bridge is 2.264" and at the nut is 2.030". The string to string spacing at the bridge is about 0.350". The scale is 24 7/8" and is a tribute to at least one of Joaquin Murphey's Bigsby lap steels.
Everything works as it should including the pots, tuning keys and pickup.
There are some very minor chips in the black paint to that top casting which covers the top of the wood and includes the fretboard.
The guitar comes with the Blue Heron padded gig bad that Todd Clinesmith uses for his lap steels.
Todd does a really nice job on his guitars.
