The Western Swing Society of Sacramento presents its Hall of Fame Weekend from Thursday evening, October 4th through Sunday evening, October 7th. Numerous bands will be performing, and most include a steel player. It all happens at the Machinist Hall in Rancho Cordova, just a bit south of Hwy 50 off Sunrise Blvd. See their website for more details.

The website does have a typo. When you click on Hall of Fame, the link to festival information says it's for 2011. That should say 2012.
