I'm still in the downsize mode, and finally found time to list the Fessenden.

I bought this guitar new in '98 or '99 and it still looks like it did the day I got it (except for a little dust). Other than church, it has only been played out 3 or 4 times. It has a set of original Danny Shields Crap Trap pickups on it which are extremely rare. These pickups were the fore runners of the Tonealigner pickups, made by Danny Shields who was the "S" in the original MSA company, and they sound great. The guitar currently is set up for my long legs, it is 27 1/2" high from the floor to the bottom of the end plate. It could be lowered to standard height or lower if required. The legs are made longer so they would have to be cut or swapped out. I could do this if necessary. The case is in very good condition, it also comes with a leg bag, and a Gary Preston cover.

The price is $2200 and I can take Paypal and absorb the fee.

I also have a '74 lacquer P/P, with wood necks, and a showroom condition Sho-Bud Super Pro.

Thanks for the interest guys, I have someone local coming to look at it tonight, if he doesn't take it, I'll post another reply here later tonight.

You can all suck eggs... the blue one's *mine*. What a nice guy... and tall to boot (as he said). It looks better in person... the blue is more toward midnight, and it looks brand-spankin' new. I'd called Herbie Steiner to ask about this one... he called back while I was on the road to look at it... and said he was gonna post on the forum about what a deal it was... so I took that as a 'yes'. Paid full askin' price.

Thanks Darvin... good luck with your new house.

Stephen, congratulations, I was hoping to get this one but I had a feeling when he told me someone local was going to look at it that it would get snatched up. It probably is the deal of the year!

Well, as you can see above, this one is gone. I really hated to sell it, but I've just got to thin the herd.

Thanks Stephen, it was nice meeting you, and I'm sure the Fessenden will work out well for you.
