This morning I was just running scales and noodling a bit. Scales, intervals, whatever, getting through my first cup of coffee. When I ran this simple one...

Running that a few times led to this... At first it wasn't real easy, still isn't. But it will be.
Probably has some fancy name, I just think of it as a scalish thing against a single note. Don't worry if these don't sound to melodic to you. In some circles they do and will to you later. Who knows, we might even find a place to plug them in, in a song.

Excellent! Good for right hand and developing a good 'ear'. Will add these to my scales exercises. Thanks! _________________ Ben-Rom #017 'Lorelei', Guild D25, Epiphone 'Joe Pass', Roland 40XL, Hilton VP
