Does anyone know who wrote The Hotel Street Blues? Sounds real old-timey.
I recently got a copy of "Ken and Bob," the CD from GrassSkirt Records with Robert Armstrong. If you like that sound, its a winner. _________________ Don't go in the water after lunch. You'll get a cramp and drown. - Mother. |

From the liner notes of his CD "Slack and Steel":
Hotel Street Blues (Ken Emerson) - Written for Ken’s grandfather, Ray Emerson, who told stories of riding streetcars in downtown Honolulu in 1915. The song’s tempo reflects a leisurely ride on a horse-drawn streetcar with the steel doing an appropriate horse whinny. _________________ Brad’s Page of Steel
