I started putting together a very simple chord/melody arrangement of "Stardust" a couple of days ago. It's in the key of C, and I did it in the only tuning I use: A6 for 8-string lap steel. If you are interested in this arrangement, I can scan it as soon as it's finished--It will be handwritten--and email it to you. If you want in, just send me an email, and I'll send it right along.

I didn't create a backing track for "Stardust," but if you want to use recorded tracks behind my arrangement, get the Jamey Aebersold set called Stardust. It contains excellent backing tracks and fakebook sheets of ten tunes including "Stardust." The version of "Stardust" in that collection is in the key of C, the same key as my arrangement.

Tony, I'd love a copy of your chart if you're offering. Stardust is on my to-do list.

I'll be glad to send it, but it's not done yet. I'll do the rest on Sunday. Also remember two facts: My arrangement is certainly nothing fancy, and it's in A6 tuning. If you're ok with those limitations, I'll send it right over.

Please check my posting for "Old Standards". I have the songs you mentioned tabbed out plus a slug of others. No backup tracks, though. |

Tony,
That's totally cool. Mostly I'd love to have the chords. (Not sure to trust what I find online.) |

Yes, I'll include the chord changes that I use on this tune along with the arrangement. Again, the arrangement is nothing fancy.
