I have a metal neck/lacquer body PP in that color. It's more of a teal, I'd call it. It's also a beautiful color under stage lights.

That's a sweet looking guitar. If I didn't already have 6 Emmonses... Wink

Thanks Herb & Bob, the teal with the black necks and yellow inlay screams "Cherokee Cowboy".

I have a '72 Emmons PP with wood necks that I restored a couple of years ago.

http://bb.steelguitarforum.com/viewtopic.php?t=181580&highlight=

It has a little warmer tone than a guitar with aluminum necks but it still cuts through the mix just fine on the bandstand Smile It's one of my favorites to play.

I love the turquoise/black color scheme on this one that Steve has for sale. I'd probably think about buying it, if I didn't already have my blonde one.

Hello Henry,
Just like Lynn said, a bit warmer but still the classic Emmons sound, check out all the stuff Hank Devito played with Emmylou, or a fella by the name of Weldon.
