I've been wondering this for a long time, who plays steel on Hank Sr.s "Mind Your Own Business"? It doesn't sound like Don Helms to me. |

Could be Jerry Byrd, who played on a fair bit of Hank's early material, though it doesn't sound like Byrd either to me. I'm sure there was one other player that appeared on some of Hank's recordings, but the name escapes me at the moment. Someone here will know. |

Several different steel players actually recorded with Hank Sr..........
On the tune to which you refer, it is NOT Jerry Byrd! |
