I've been having a blast burning up the back neck lately. I've got some great instructional materials from Bobbe Seymour and Tommy Roots, but they focus more on chords, chord melodies & songs.

I'd love some recommendations on C6th licks (yes, I'm a riff collector - that's how I learn. Cop someone else's stuff and expand on it).

Thanks friends!

I've got a few hundred nice C6 riffs on my web site all with sound files and located on my tab pages. Here's two of them that are located on this page:

C6th - Really neat! - Thanks to Doug Seymour - Uses 3 pedals at once

C6th - Key of C - simple ending with 3 variations - NO PEDALS NEEDED!

I'd have to find used copies, yes? Do you know of anyone still stocking those?

Bill - Jim Palenscar at Steel Guitars of the North County has all the 'Swinging' series courses and CD's. Try the LINKS at the top of the page and trawl to vendors - you'll have to Email him for a pdf price list. You might also like to try Jim Loessberg's 'A Dozen C6th Intros and Solos'- you can buy that straight from this forum.

Sure enough, Jim has the "Swingin' series."

Is there a best one to start with, or should I just grab one and go?

Thanks again.
