I looked at various sites/stores that sell steel guitar strings and couldn't find a package labeled specifically for extended E9th. Does that mean a U-12 set does the job, or do you 12 string E9th players buy a set of 10 strings and two singles? |

But didn't they announce they'll close til after the 6th? _________________ 2 pedal steels, a lapStrat, and an 8-string Dobro (and 3 ukes)
More amps than guitars, and not many effects |

A U-12 set contains one string not needed for Ext E9 ( 068) and missing one (the D string) so if specific extended sets are not available, it`s best to buy 10 string sets and the two extra low string as singles. _________________ Olli Haavisto

The only post I've seen regarding closing says they will be closed from 8/25/2012 until 9/3/2012. Have I missed something? |

Thanks for that site info. Next question is... stainless or nickel? |

A regular E9 10 string set with a .044 G#, and a .054 E, for 11, and 12 is what I have been using for forever.(stainless)
