Hi Guys and Gals,
I looking for a couple of good backup tracks for these.
"Song for Sarah" and "Bars of Steel" If anyone has one
or both of these, I would really appreciate a copy.
Many thanks for either one or if possibe both of them.

Carl, let me have a look around on the net and see what I can find. I'm pretty sure I can track down a midi for you and then I can convert it to an mp3 for you.

Just got home from work and I've got some stuff to do first but I'll get back to you this afternoon.

I found "song for sarah" but I'm not sure if it's the correct song as I don't know it.

I converted it to mp3 from midi so if anyone wants it shoot me an email and I'll send it off to you.

Didn't have time to check so I don't know what key it's in.

If I get a chance later I'll see if I can't find Bars of Steel as well.

Hey Keith, Many thanks my friend. I just got home from
my dentist 100 miles away, and see you sent me an email.
Wow! I'm glad you have both of them, and that's wonderful.
I sent you an email. Thanks again, I greatly appreciate it. Very Happy
Carl

Ok, apparently the "song for sarah" is the wrong one. The bars of steel is good to go but since I hadn't heard song for sarah before I downloaded a song by the same name.

Someone sent me a link to the paul franklin version so at least I know what I'm looking for now.

So anyone looking for song for sarah - it's on hold till I find the right version. IF I can find it that is.

There are a few guys that have this song posted on youtube and they are playing pedal steel over a backing track - I wonder would they share it?

In the meantime I'll keep looking.

Anyone know Terry Sutton well enough to ask him for a copy of the backing track he is using for song for sarah?

He does a real nice job of it here:

Hi Craig, I have the "Anthology of a Steel Guitar"
with CD. The song is on there with Paul playing it
but it the CD does not have a backing track on it.
I'd like to get the track, but I guess no one has it.
