You might want to check out somehow! We were there last Sat Aug 13 & went to lower Broadway after the Vikings/Titans game, We hit every club on both sides of Broadway, Not a steel player in sight anywhere! Quite disappointing! |

Al,
I was there the same night. I didn't go to the game so I was on Broadway during the game. Randy Hess was at Legends and Tommy Butler was at The Stage. Other than that, no steel and after shift change at 10pm, like you said, no steel. I didn't stay much longer! _________________ Gaylon's Homepage

I play guitar with the great Tommy Hannum on steel, Friday afternoons 4-8 at the Bluegrass Inn.
Tommy is one of my favorites so it is a treat for me!
We play with Sarah Gayle Meech who has a great voice and loves old school country! |

I saw some great players there a couple weeks ago.
Tommy Hannum. at Roberts Western World and at the Silver Dollar. Tommy Killin at Legends. Tommy Killin (I am not sure of the spelling) was great especially on the George Jones stuff.
I obtained a CD from Tommy Hannum. (Not Rocket Science) This is one of the best steel guitar CD I heard. Tommy's blazing hot licks and soulful feel make this a must have for anyone that likes steel. I was listing on the way home an just had to holler out loud (Yeaahh}.
I would like to buy a couple more for my friends does anyone know how to contact Tommy. _________________ Doug Jergian's Sho Bud Super Pro II,SKH Emmons D10 8x5. 74 Emmons D10 PP lacquer Quilter Steelair, Telonix volume. |
