While this is not a BIAB direct question, most discussions of Backing Tracks appear in this section. A chap was telling me today (he's not a steel guitarist) that the actual tracks used on George Jones and Merle Haggard music for examples, can be "acquired".

Has anybody ever heard of this? It almost sound like a Karaoke thing.
