I am just beginning and have a nice Fessenden I bought here on the forum. So far so good, practicing about 30 minutes to an hour a day. I have noticed a buzz or rattle in the 5th or B string, but I am so new at this I cannot find a way to adjust the action or otherwise get rid of it...any advice? |

Wilkes...Try loosening the string and rotating the roller nut approximately a 1/4 turn. Also at the same time, move the string aside at the bridge and check for burrs or abrasions. |

How long has it been since you changed strings? I've had that happen just before a string breaks.
