I am just beginning and have a nice Fessenden I bought here on the forum. So far so good, practicing about 30 minutes to an hour a day. I have noticed a buzz or rattle in the 5th or B string, but I am so new at this I cannot find a way to adjust the action or otherwise get rid of it...any advice?

Wilkes...Try loosening the string and rotating the roller nut approximately a 1/4 turn. Also at the same time, move the string aside at the bridge and check for burrs or abrasions.

How long has it been since you changed strings? I've had that happen just before a string breaks.
