Bob S. and Bob G.,

Thanks guys! I'm honored to have this opportunity. Mark Gandy and the Whiskey River Band are a great unit to be playing with and to be opening for The Outlaws is awesome. The Outlaws have it all, great playing and great vocals, and if anybody has a chance they should check them (and us) out on this tour. Guitarist Hughie Thomasson told me he still has the pedal steel that Toy Caldwell gave him years ago.

Bob Smith's "Four Wheel Drive" and Bob Grado's "After the Reign" are two great New Jersey bands that can really kick it. Check them out if you get the chance.

To the above I would like to add...

My friend Wayne Tyler from Delaware created and executed with great finesse all the pedal steel parts on Mark Gandy's new CD, "Honky Tonk Hero" on Lito Records. Wayne, whom I've known for a long, long time, stays busy with his own great band, the "Mason-Dixon Band". Check them out too!
