Rose,
Prayers and Condolences to you and family. Johnny was such an easy going musician. You couldn't help liking him. I always enjoyed his playing. On a weekend in about 1970, I was embarking on a night of Country bar hopping to listen to steel players in the Quad Cities area. John Carter pointed me toward Johnny Peters playing The Rim.
Now he's playing with Carter and many others that he knew.

Rose, although I only knew you and John for a short time, John always had a kind word or "story" for me. He obviously influenced generations of musicians around the QC's. our deepest sympathies go out to you and your family. Dave Chockley

Hi Rose, We sure wished we could have gotten to know Johnny more--but distance was against that. We sure enjoyed meeting ya'll when we came up for the Quad Cities steel shows. I sure admired his kindness towards others as well as his love for fine country music and his fine playing. He will be missed. Our condolences to you, Rose and family. James and Tree

I'm sure it's a difficult anniversary without him. You'll celebrate together again someday. I'm sure he's missing you also.
