So...here is a simple vid of me showing the G# - E change on my LKV. I have this on a 2010 Emmons SD-10 , 4 and 5.
When I put this change on I couldnt find a whole lot of examples of it, some but not much. Mostly just people saying that it wouldnt tune, or return to tune very well.
As for tuning- I changed the strings about 1 month ago, in the middle of a 3000 mile road trip, where I set up my guitar probably 6 times. Never tuned it, never had to retune the LKV. Maybe its a little out of tune, but at least you can hear where its at after all of that neglect.
The change itself is cool, mellow. Im no Mr. Wizard licks, so its not all that exciting, but at least heres something to see and hear.
