The MASGA would like to thank all who came out to support the MASGA Jam/Show this past weekend in Kannapolis NC. Again as usual ER.Chandler, Carl Epling and their wives made it all happen for us all to enjoy. We want to publicly Thank them for all their hard work to make the event a success.
We also want to thank Joe Turner and his back up band for putting on a great show and for his band backing up all of our Steel players. Great Job. The Moose facility really is a nice place to hold this event and their folks go all out to make available a super menu of food for us to have on premises.
We are sorry for those that could not make it this great event but we hope to see you at the next MASGA event.
Thanks again for all that came out to support this event.
Regards
Ken Latchum

Very good weekend. The attendance was a little off, but the quality of players was right up there. I will have pictures posted on the web next week.
Thanks to Fran Newman for attending. She is a class act. www.masga.org

I would also like to thank everyone for a very enjoyable Jam. A special thanks to Carl, ER, Glenn, Ken, Mike and every one else for your hard work and the excellent Jam.
It was so good to see Fran again.
Joe knocked me out... he always does.
I have missed the last few MASGA events but I got the bug again ... see you all again soon. The next time I will at least know the Key of each song LOL
The only thing missing was Arnett... I have a rope to solve this next time
All The Best; Jerry

OK ~!!! I knew I would forget somebody as I always do. We do not want to forget Mike Calaway for the fine Job he did (As Usual)putting on our seminar for all of our folks. It was well attended and very well received.
Mike is our very own MASGA steelguitar teacher/instructor. He accomodates us by holding a seminar atleast once or twice a year at our big Jams for all to learn.
Thanks Mike for all you do to help us out.
Regards

I hope you all had a great time. I was not going to be able to sneak in on you guys as I was at our Rhode Island Steel Show and it was a great success. We had some dinamite steel players at out Show. We were even lucky to have a guy from England John Davis He even won the 50/50 of well over one hundred dollars and took that money back to England. He came to the Steel show with Tommy Cass who is a great steel player and he rebuilds all the old push/pull Emmons Steels he can get.He is another Bryan Adams on making these old steels like new again.I sure miss seeing all you great people down there.
