I am sad to report that my good friend and fellow steel guitar player, Keith Root from Idaho has pased away from a massive heart attack,,,evidently yesterday or last night (Thursday).
Don't know much else or any of the arraingments yet.
Please keep his wife and family in your thoughts and prayers.

There were many times I went to the chatroom and Keith was often the only one there(we both kept weird hours I guess). We would talk about forestry, the weather and of course, steel guitar. I am truly saddened to hear of his passing,we had many good times. His family will be in my prayers.

Keith was such a nice person. He and I got to be very good friends because of this instrument we all love. I say a prayer requesting that God comfort his family.

Keith, I will miss you.

Ahh what sad news. I haven't been on the forum for
a while and I am just now getting the news of the loss of Keith. Like David, I would meet up with Keith in the chat room and we would talk about flying
and forestry. We talked about me flying over his way and he would pick me up. We never made that connection but some great conversations and I will
miss talking to him. My prayers and thoughts go out
to his family.

David
